Adoption-Link provides quality services for all in the adoption triad: birth parents, children and adoptive families. We specialize in domestic and international adoption and humanitarian services for African, African-American, multiracial, HIV+ and other special needs children. We believe that all children have a right to a loving and permanent home.
Our Services
Our adoptive families come from around the globe. We provide home studies in Illinois for families who are pursuing domestic as well as international adoption. Our agency also offers post- placement and post-adoption services to both adoptive families and birth parents. Learn more about our adoption services.

New! Post Adoption Counseling Services offered at Adoption-Link.

Adoption-Link is making adoption counseling services available for families and children in need. Adoption-Link has always offered pre adoption guidance but as children grow and enter new stages of development, issues unique to each stage arise. Group sessions and private sessions available. Don't miss the Fourth Annual Reality of Hope benefit on May 15, 2008 at the Chicago Cultural Center. Join Adoption-Link families and supporters for a night of fun at the historic Chicago Cultural Center. A wide assortment of appetizers and a generous buffet table along with cocktails and beverages will be served. Kevin Roy ABC news anchor will emcee the event and Senator Dick Durbin will serve as the Honorary Event Chair. Tickets are $95 in advance and $110 at the door. Our Programs
Adoption-Link seeks to meet the needs of the world's most vulnerable children, their biological and potential adoptive families. We strive to create programs that are constantly evolving and maximizing the potential of all involved in the adoption triad.
African-American Program
Since 1992, Adoption-Link has specialized in placing African-American, bi-racial and multi-racial children. We have placed over 750 children and firmly believe that all children of all races have a right to a permanent home. Learn more about our African-American adoption program.
Chances by Choice (Domestic & International HIV+)
Chances by Choice specializes in providing support for domestic and internationally born HIV exposed children and the families who wish to adopt them. As part of this program, we have launched the Ethiopian Children's Project to help through sponsorship programs, placement of children with adoptive families, education, medical care and humanitarian services. Haiti Adoption Program
We work with a wonderful orphanage in Haiti called Crech Enfant de l’ Jesus, a beautiful facility located in the village of TiMache, about a 45 minute drive east of Port Au Prince. The orphanage is currently home to healthy children, many of them under 2 years of age. Sibling groups are available. Learn more about our Haiti adoption program.
Ethiopia Adoption Program (Coming Soon)
Adoption-Link/Chances by Choice has applied for Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) status in Ethiopia and is nearing the end of that process. Once approved, we will work in partnership with an established adoption program in Addis Ababa to place both healthy and HIV+ children for adoption. We are compiling a wait list of interested adoptive families and expect to be up and running soon! Learn more about our Ethiopia adoption program.
